Portfolio Prep for

Post-Secondary level programs in Architecture, Animation, Fine Art and Design,

Grades 10-12 and gap year students

Preparing successful portfolios for entrance into post-secondary programs requires the ability to merge artistic skill and proof of concept in clear, clever and creative ways. Thinking outside the box, devoting time, energy and effort required to each piece is key to producing the quality of work that competes with others’ for spots in particular programs. I work one-on-one with students to ensure their strongest artistic visions are articulated in a powerful and meaningful presentation. Interested in learning more?

THE
Meet and Greet

Meet and Greet is an opportunity for us to get acquainted and ask some preliminary questions; what program the student is interested in attending and why? What are their favourite art disciplines? Do they have a vision for of what they would like their portfolio to look like? This first step gives me a chance to look at some of the students’ art work, ask some questions and give some initial feedback. Once we have decided that we would like to work together, we move forward with a lesson plan.

Portfolio Prep classes for the following
Post-Secondary Programs;

  • Personalized art sessions
  • A follow up email the day after class detailing what was covered during our time together plus homework that is to be carried out between classes
  • Students are encouraged to contact me between sessions for feedback to ask questions, and to share photos of what they have been working on
